To start the day, a fantastic breakfast buffet awaits you in our Giardino restaurant. Whether it's Strandtaler from the Ostseeländer organic cheese dairy, various types of organic honey with a special blossom aroma from the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft from the Trebeltal apiary, baked goods from Usedom's Haß bakery, a hearty cold cut from the Heringsdorf butcher or fresh eggs from the Gut Thurbruch organic farm – whatever you choose, you are guaranteed a good start to the morning with our rich breakfast buffet made from the best regional ingredients.

In the evening, the restaurant transforms into the setting for dinner. A regional 3-course dinner or one of our specialty evenings awaits you as part of our half board. Of course you can also dine à la carte. Our love belongs to the region. We incorporate it authentically and with passion into our cuisine.

Every Wednesday we welcome you to our Italian buffet. Enjoy traditional Italian specialties, such as fresh pasta with truffle sauce. During the summer months, we barbecue on our Giardino terrace when the weather is fine.

Every Friday we also welcome you to our Mecklenburg specialty evening. Traditionally, fish is always eaten on Fridays. You can also look forward to specialties from the countryside.

Our team in the restaurant

Head chef Enrico Graf

Our chef Enrico Graf has been the head of the kitchen team since 2011. He does not only know his kitchen, but also the house from its infancy. Enrico has been part of the team since the opening in 2001. Having started as chef de partie in the Giardino restaurant, he has steadily developed his skills in our establishment. Today, Enrico leads the team as a trained chef. His focus is on regional, fresh and sustainable products, and his dishes ensure "enjoyment with a clear conscience".

Restaurant manager Kerstin Müller

Kerstin Müller has been part of the restaurant team at Strandidyll Heringsdorf since 2002. She first proved her skills as deputy restaurant manager. Just one year later, she took over the management of the Giardino restaurant. As a trained sommelier, Kerstin is your contact for advice on suitable wines that perfectly round off the culinary delights in our restaurant. With the TeaMaster Gold, Kerstin also guarantees tea culture at the highest level at Strandidyll Heringsdorf.
